Residence Renewal Readiness Review
A 90-minute review for residents approaching a German permit expiry who want a clear evidence list, question log and preparation sequence.
Who this review is for
This is the flagship consultation for people whose German residence permit expires within the next two to nine months. It is particularly useful after an employer change, a period abroad, a family change, or uncertainty about which records the Ausländerbehörde may ask to see.
The aim is practical: to leave with an ordered preparation plan and a clearer set of questions. We do not file an application, contact the authority in your name, guarantee an outcome, or replace advice from a Rechtsanwalt.
What we cover
Before the meeting, you complete a short, non-sensitive timeline covering permit type, expiry, employment status, major absences and the city responsible for your file. Please do not email passports, bank statements or medical information for the initial review.
During 90 minutes, your consultant will:
- reconstruct the relevant dates and recent changes;
- compare your situation with the current published renewal requirements;
- sort likely evidence into available, missing and needs-confirmation groups;
- identify questions to raise with the authority or, where appropriate, a lawyer;
- consider whether this renewal affects a later permanent residence route.
Within two working days, you receive a written readiness note with a preparation sequence, a personalised document-category checklist, and links to official sources discussed in the session.
How the appointment works
Meetings take place at our Munich office or by secure video call. English is the working language. Bring your current permit details, your expiry date, and a simple list of employment and residence dates. Original documents are not retained.
The fixed fee is €245 including VAT. A 30-minute follow-up within 21 days can be added for €85 if an authority response creates a new preparation question.
Important boundaries
Engine Vaulthub provides organisational and strategic guidance. We do not assess litigation prospects, interpret disputed law for you, certify translations, provide tax advice, or act under power of attorney. If your matter involves a refusal, threatened removal, an expired status, criminal proceedings or an urgent deadline, we will recommend prompt advice from a qualified German immigration lawyer.
Your next step
Tell us your permit type, expiry month and the change you are concerned about. We will confirm whether this review fits before arranging a date.
